Who can get married in Florida?
A man and a woman of any nationality 18 years of age or older.

Which documents are needed?
Passports or US driver licenses are necessary for identification.
If either applicant has been previously married, the exact date of the last
divorce,death or annulment must be provided.

Which administrative steps are necessary ?
One single visit to Miami Beach's marriage license is necessary
prior to the ceremony to obtain the marriage license. This will take

Is a wedding in Florida valid outside the USA?

Yes. Upon request we will issue an apostile which is required to register your marriage in most countries outside the USA.


Are we responsible for obtaining the marriage license ourselves?

Yes you are. The marriage license must be obtained and paid for by you unless you request this service to be included.


When will the ceremony take place?
Ceremonies can be scheduled 365 days a year. The marriage license must however be obtained prior to the ceremony during American office hours.


Are witness required?
Witness to your wedding are not required in the State of Florida, you may however elect two witnesses if you wish.


Are blood tests or waiting periods mandatory?
Blood tests are not required. If you are not a Florida resident a waiting period is not required. Only for Florida residents a three day waiting period between obtaining the marriage license and the actual ceremony is mandatory.
